ALL ABOUT OUR

LOCAL BREWERIES AND DISTILLARIES

Bottles & Taps has a commitment to represent our local area. In doing so we have partnered up with many of our local breweries/distilleries. Below you will find a showcase of our collaborations as we take a little time to explore each of our local breweries/distilleries. Each week we will showcase a different company until we have covered them all so keep coming back to see what new company has joined the ranks!

3 HUNDRED DAYS OF SHINE

3 Hundred Days of Shine came from an old unofficial Coloradan slogan from the 1870s, “300 days of Sunshine.” The company was started by a former EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) soldier.

Who was that soldier? Well, his name is Mike Girard and after almost 23 years of active-duty service in the United States Army and having to learn all about the HME (Home Made Explosives), thanks to the war, it sparked an interest in the chemical reactions of making alcohol. Thus began the journey to what is now 3 Hundred Days of Shine.

3 Hundred Days of Shine prides itself on using old school methods along with modern-day technology to bring its’ customers “The best sippin’ moonshine this side of the continental divided.” Currently, there are 12 shines with 3 seasonal flavors. Many of those shines are carried here at Bottles and Taps. So come on down to try one of their many Moonshine Cocktails.
